Fresh Sheet: May 30, 2018

This week's Fresh Sheet is up and we are full of the best food in edmonton!

Join us WEDNESDAY in the Terwillegar Recreation Center

in Parking Lot E from 4 to 7:30pm

While this is still early days of the outdoor market season, there are so many great vendors at the market already.  Fresh vegetables are already making an appearance and delicious, juicy BC fruit is not far behind!  Grab yourself some homemade cheesy bread sticks, a prepared curry or soup, and perhaps some craft beer or soda and give yourself a night off in the kitchen!  Another option is to try a piping hot food truck meal; we have at least four trucks per market so there is a ton of great choices.

Join us here on the Fresh Sheet every Tuesday to see what's fresh and happening at your favourite farmers' market! Remember, please leave Fido at home; we are a pet-free market (service animals are allowed!).

The Edmonton & Area Land Trust team will be in our Community Tent this year.  This group is the only local land conservancy that works to protect natural areas to benefit wildlife and people, and to conserve biodiversity and all nature's values, for everyone forever. This year we launched our Young Vendors Program, which gives 13 to 17 year olds a chance to sell their homemade products .   This week we are hosting Dipped , a Junior Achievement Company.  Dipped is changing the coffee drinking community by creating a new standard of sustainable instant coffee, through committing to decomposable materials and an eco-friendly process.
