We Have a Fresh New Blog!

Welcome to our new blog! We are excited to have launched our brand-new website this week, and are looking forward to including more content on our blog, including our market fresh sheets every week. This week at market is looking wonderful and the variety of produce available is increasing every day- take a look out for fresh greens, potatoes, fruits, and other veggies in your favourite stalls!

Join us here on the Fresh Sheet every Tuesday to see what's fresh and happening at your favourite farmers' market! Remember, please leave Fido at home- no dogs are allowed where food is being served!

The Communtiy Tent will be dedicated to a colouring contest for our favourite community members- our Sprouts! Send your little veggie-loving kids to the Community Tent after they've spend their Sprouts tokens to get their colour on- there will be fresh market prizes for kids in three age categories, so make sure to send them our way!

Dargatz Family Farm will be bringing their usual potatoes, tomatoes and potted plants and herbs, along with fresh kale and (maybe!) zucchinis for our adults and Sprouts alike. 

Holden Colony will be bringing their fresh field and greenhouse veggies, along with frozen chickens, preserves, and eggs.

Lactuca Urban Farm will be bringing their hyperlocal salad mix, along with Sylvetta and Astro arugula, baby dill, and d'avignon, a specialty Fresh radish.

Riverbend Gardens will be bringing fresh potatoes, carrots, beets, peas, dill, spinach and other field crops this week.

S4 Greenhouses always has the most delicious greenhouse vegetables, from lettuce, and tomatoes to mini cucumbers and fresh bell peppers.

Birds and Bees Winery is back at SWEFM this week with their wonderful fruit wines and meads. They'll be sampling at their stall, so be sure to welcome them back to market over a sip of wine!

Cafe Bel-Air will be bringing fresh, handmade popsicles to market, including Mango Lassi, Strawberry Lemonade, and Avocado Coconut Lime. All of Cafe Bel-Air's popsicles are free of gluten and tree nuts, and they have vegan options as well!

Cravings Gelato will be bringing their fantastic gelato, gelato pops and her new diabetic class of gelatos.

Honest Dumplings is bringing their handmade dumplings in delicious flavours. We especially love their kale dumplings!

Melodi's Kitchen is our favourite Turkish food vendor and will be bringing all of their popular dishes for you to try. 

Mini Kitchen specializes in delicious Indian and Thai food. Their samosas and butter chicken are absolutely delicious!

O'Delight will be bringing their homemade Moroccan foods. Their Sweet Bird's Peak is an amazing dessert idea if you're looking for something new to try!

Pamoda Tea will be back this week, now with Tea infused chocolate truffles and hand blended specialty teas.  Come sip, enjoy, and savor Pamoda Tea’s more than 50 varieties of tea including Black, Green, White, Chai, Rooibos and Wellness tea.

The Ruby Apron will be back this week, bringing prepared foods made with local ingredients.

Sweet and Spicy is back this week with their hand-blended spice mixes, sauces, salsas and jellies.

Square 1 Coffee will be serving up fresh coffee and selling bags of coffee beans from craft roasters around Western Canada and United States. 

Thai Sab Food Co. will be bringing her delicious Thai foods to market this week. Her mango sticky rice is a great post-market snack!

Theo's Greek Kouzina bringing their well-loved greek dips and treats to market this week.

Urban Pierogies will be joining us with their fresh pierogies made from simple and organic ingredients. This week they'll se sampling their borscht flavour!

The Sprouts Program for kids continues this week! Children between 4-12 will receive a $2 token to spend with our fruit and vegetable vendors. This week, our Sprouts recipe is "Frog Berry Baskets". You can pick up your copy of the recipe at the Sprouts table when you check in! For more information on the Sprouts Program, click here

AIG Produce will be bringing fresh cherries, berries, and apricots to market this week.

Red Apple will have delicious cherries, apricots, apples, pears, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries at their stall this week.

Steve & Dan's Fresh B.C. Fruit will have a wonderful variety of fresh berries, cherries and stone fruits, along with dehydrated apples and sparkling apple juice.

Auntie Jean's Fudge will be at market this week with her handmade fudge. She also makes vegan fudge with coconut milk and coconut oil!

Calico Baking Co. will have sourdough, lemon scones, almond croissants, savoury whole wheat croissants, and delicious pretzel buns at market this week.

Celebrate, Gluten Free is the perfect option for those with gluten sensitivities. They always have amazing bagels, cupcakes, and loaves of bread available!

Confetti Sweets is our favourite pink tent at market, full of wonderful cookies! This week they're featuring a tried-and-true favourite flavour: Peanut Butter!

Fresh 2 Share will be bringing swiss braided breads and a variety of other baked goods including meringues. 

Prairie Mill Bread Co. makes all of his bread loaves and cinnamon buns right in our neck of the woods! 

Sandra's Macarons will be bringing her bright and delicious array of hand-made macarons this week. 

Sweet Stuff will be bringing her delicious cupcakes, croissants, and cookies to market. Lindsay also makes a delicious vegan version of her cupcakes!

Bully Food Truck will be serving up drool-worthy comfort food using fresh and local ingredients.

Casa 12 Doce will be joining us with their authentic Mexican tacos and street food.

Explore India is coming to market this week with their fantastic Indian menu.

Fat Franks will be ready to serve you their delicious hot dogs and smokies with all the fixings! 

Original Canadian Kettle Corn, a farmers' market staple, will be here this week satisfying all of your cravings for this summer favourite!

Pink Kernel will be on-site with their sno-cones this week.

Yellowbird Cafe Truck will be back at SWEFM this week with their friendly smiles and delicious Asian fusion cuisine.  

Ada's Soap Shop has a large line of shave brushes made with Badge Hair, Oak and Maple. All shave brushes are $30 and include a Real shave soap. All of his products are hand made in Edmonton!

Carmen's Jewelry is joining us again this week with her leather handmade jewelry.

Cheeky, the Cloth Diaper Company will be at market with their environmentally-friendly cloth diapers, wetbags and nursing pads.

Hunter and Hanley will be joining us this week with their adorable home decor, baby accessories and t-shirts! 

Marigold Greenhouses will be bringing over 50 types of herbs, along with bedding plants and succulents. Children can use their Sprouts tokens to get a fun food plant like chocolate mint at this stall!

Skinchantment will be bringing facial oils, facial sprays, dry masques, bath salts and beard oils available this week. All of Skinchantment's products are vegan, natural and made with organic ingredients.

Wilmar Farms will be back with their healthy hemp products for the kitchen and your skin.
